How big do Eagle Forage Soybeans get?
At Midwest Monster Whitetail Products, this is our first year as the authorized Minneapolis/St. Paul dealer for Eagle Seeds and their Eagle Forage Soybeans. Of course, as the Twin Cities Eagle Seeds dealer, we also serve customers in western Wisconsin.
It's been very interesting talking to new customers as they pick up their Eagle Seed orders. Some are "old hands" who have been growing Eagle Forage Soybeans for years and have been kind enough to share photos.
The most common question I get asked is this: How big do Eagle Forage Soybeans really get here in the upper Midwest?
Here's a shared by a Midwest Monster customer of last year's (2016 growing season) Eagle Forage Soybean plot. This plot was near St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
This picture pretty much says it all. This plot is about 4 acres and it was not fenced. This picture was taken in August of 2016. This customer reported that despite heavy browsing pressure, the Eagle Forage Soybeans kept growing to stay ahead of the deer all the way until the end of the growing season. Then the deer spent the fall eating the plants to the ground.
Got an Eagle Forage Soybean picture from your plot in the upper midwest? Email it to us, we'd love to see it.
